McCall Lake Cruises

What a treat this is! During the summer months McCall Lake Cruises offers tours around Payette Lake on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  They have sunset cruises often including live music and other special interests.  Check out their website or give them a call for detailed info and their calendar.

Ponderosa State Park 

Located just north of McCall and bordering 3 sides of Payette Lake, this is the perfect place for loads exciting activities.  The lake views are incredible and there is often wildlife about for your viewing pleasure. Considering its very convenient location, there is so much activity to choose from. Enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, fishing, snow shoeing & cross country skiing as well at Ponderosa State Park.

McCall Smoke Jumpers Base

This is a must see for everyone.  Smoke jumpers are a highly trained, special group of firefighters who parachute from planes at very high risk to their own safety, in order to get very close to a forest fire.  Their website if full of info you might enjoy whether or not you are able to see it in person.
